Sullivan Man Who Killed Girlfriend's 2-Year-Old Sentenced To Life
The judge said Brian Owsinski, of Fallsburg, will not be eligible for parole until after 20 years.
MONTICELLO, NY — A Sullivan County man who pleaded guilty to killing his girlfriend's 2-year-old girl will be going to prison.
Brian Owsinski, 26, of Fallsburg, was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison, with no possible parole before 20 years, for the murder of 2-year-old Amara Campbell, the daughter of his girlfriend, Time Herald-Record reported.
The man pleaded guilty to felony second-degree murder in September — right before jury selection was set to begin.

Police said Owsinski struck the child at least twice in the stomach Jan. 25 causing her death, Mid Hudson News reported.
The autopsy showed the child had fatal internal bleeding, the district attorney said.
