Ulster Man Receives 8 Years In Prison For Trafficking Drugs
Authorities said he admitted leading an organization that sold more than 500 grams of cocaine base, as well as fentanyl.
ELLENVILLE, NY — An Ulster County man was sentenced to more than eight years in prison for leading a drug trafficking organization.
Antonio Naveo, 42, of Ellenville, entered a guilty plea to charges that his organization distributed cocaine base and fentanyl in Ulster County, as well as for unlawfully possessing a firearm.
The announcement was made by United States Attorney Carla B. Freeman of the Northern District of New York, as well as Michael Alfonso, special agent in charge of Homeland Security Investigations in New York and Ulster County Sheriff Juan Figueroa, whose office leads the Ulster Regional Gang Enforcement Narcotics Team.

As part of his previously entered guilty plea, Naveo admitted that, between September 2017 and December 2018, he led an organization that trafficked more than 500 grams of cocaine base, as well as fentanyl, from New York City and Pennsylvania, respectively, to Ellenville for redistribution at various locations in the Rondout Valley.
Naveo also admitted he unlawfully possessed a firearm as a previously convicted felon.

In addition to the 97-month prison sentence, he was ordered to serve a four-year term of supervised release after he gets out of prison.
