Winning 3rd-Prize Powerball Ticket Sold In Mid-Hudson Valley
There were four tickets sold around the state.

NEWBURGH, NY — There were four third-prize-winning tickets sold in New York for the Feb. 28 Powerball drawing — and one of them was in the Hudson Valley.
New York Lottery officials said the winning tickets — each worth $50,000 — were sold at:
- Smokes 4 Less, 59 North Plank Road in Newburgh
- Molina Mini Market Corp., 1266 Grand Concourse in Bronx
- D&Z Liquors Inc., 852 Utica Ave. in Brooklyn
- Main Street Mart Inc., 230 Main St. in Center Moriches
Winning numbers for the Feb. 28 Powerball drawing are 16-26-29-38-50 with a Powerball of 6, according to the New York Lottery website.

To win the third prize, a customer had to have correctly chosen four numbers plus the Powerball.
The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Powerball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.

Powerball drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
