Winning Powerball Ticket Sold At Hudson Valley Gas Station

The prize-winning ticket was sold in Orange County for the Wednesday evening drawing, lottery officials said.

ROCK TAVERN, NY — A stop at a gas station has paid off big time for a Hudson Valley resident.

The New York Lottery announced a third-prize-winning ticket was sold in Orange County for the Nov. 5 Powerball drawing.

The ticket is worth $50,000, and was sold at the Valero, located on State Route 17K in Rock Tavern.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 9-17-29-61-66, with a Powerball number of 26.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are drawn from a field of one to 69. The red Powerball is drawn from a separate field of one to 26. The Powerball drawing is televised every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m.
