Baby Found Unconscious At Hotel Pennsylvania Dies

Police said two women were taken into custody from the scene at the Midtown hotel.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Police took two women into custody after an infant found unconscious at Hotel Pennsylvania later died at a hospital early Saturday morning.

According to the NYPD, officers responded to the hotel located at 401 7th Avenue around 1:10 a.m. for a 911 call about an unconscious infant. Police said the 4-month-old baby boy was found unconscious and unresponsive with no obvious signs of trauma.

The baby was taken to NYU Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

The infant was identified as Dominc Greene, of Wilmington, Delaware.

Police said two women, a 24-year-old and a 26-year-old, were taken into custody from the scene.
