Construction Worker Died While On The Job In Midtown: NYPD
The 45-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

MIDTOWN, NY — A construction worker was killed while on the job in Midtown on Friday, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, two men were working inside a cherry picker around 9:16 a.m. at 34 East 35th St. when a beam struck them.
The 45-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, and the 35-year-old was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition, police said.

The investigation is ongoing, police said. The name of the victim is being kept private by police until family can be properly notified, police said.
