Group Swipes Nearly $2K In Sunglasses From Midtown Store: Police

The four thieves walked into a Midtown Sunglasses Hut and snatched merchandize valued at $1,835.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify four people wanted for shoplifting at a Midtown Manhattan Sunglasses Hut, police said.

The group walked into the store, located on Broadway between West 45th and 46th streets, around 9 p.m. on April 14 and snatched merchandize from a display. The thieves fled the store with glasses valued at $1,835, police said.

One man and three women are wanted in connection with the robbery, police said.

The man is described as in his 30s with a heavy build and a bald head, police said. The first woman suspect is described as being in her 40s or 50s with dark hair and a heavy build, the second suspect is described as being in her 30s or 40s with dark hair and a heavy build and the third is describe as being in her 20s or 30s with dark hair and a medium build, police said.
