How To Get 2-For-1 Tickets During NYC Broadway Week 2019
Discounted tickets for shows such as "Ain't Too Proud," "Dear Evan Hansen" and "Harry Potter & the Cursed Child" went on sale Wednesday.
MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Ticket sales for NYC Broadway Week launched Wednesday, offering theatergoers the chance to see two Broadway shows for the price of one, city tourism officials announced. The twice annual promotion will run from September 3 to 16.
NYC Broadway Week features 24 different shows this fall, including returning hits such as Tony-winning best musicals "The Book of Mormon" and "Dear Evan Hansen." Popular shows such as "Ain't Too Proud – The Life & Times of the Temptations," and "Harry Potter & the Cursed Child" are being featured in Broadway Week for the first time.
"It’s an ideal time to come and see a Broadway show and our ongoing partnership with NYC & Company makes it more accessible than ever with two weeks of 2-for-1 tickets," said Charlotte St. Martin, president of The Broadway League, said in a statement. "Whether you’re a newcomer or a longtime fan, there are so many choices that you’ll definitely find something that’s right for you."

NYC Broadway Week is also a great opportunity to check out long-running favorites such as "The Lion King," "Wicked" and "The Phantom of the Opera."

Since Broadway Week's creation in 2011, the promotion has sold more than 1,464,000 tickets — resulting in nearly $100 million in revenue for Broadway productions.
"New York City is renowned for offering the very best in live theater, and NYC Broadway Week’s 2-for-1 ticket promotion—in partnership with The Broadway League and preferred payment partner Mastercard—provides extraordinary access to these world-famous productions for locals and visitors alike," Fred Dixon, CEO of the city's tourism agency NYC & Company, said in a statement.
