
MIDTOWN, NY — A 72-year-old man was pushed down onto the subway tracks on Sunday at the 34th Street Herald Square subway station, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the victim was waiting on the northbound F train platform on Sunday at 12:14 p.m. when a man approached him and shoved him onto the tracks.
Officials said the victim sustained injuries, including a gash in his head, from the incident, and was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/ Bellevue in stable condition.

Cops said they are looking for the perpetrator, who fled on foot in an unknown direction. According to the NYPD, there have been no arrests yet, and the investigation is ongoing.
