MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A man fired gunshots outside the famed Apple Store on Fifth Avenue near Central Park, according to police, who asked for help identifying the suspect.

The man was part of a group of three men that walked out of the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue near East 59th Street just before 4 a.m. Saturday. (The cube-shaped retailer is open 24 hours a day.)

After the group walked out, one of the men took out a gun and fired it south toward East 58th Street, an NYPD spokesperson said. Security workers at the Apple Store recovered one shell casing behind the store.
