Man Robs Bank Near Grand Central, Police Say
The man slipped a note to a bank teller demanding money.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify a man who robbed a bank located blocks away from Grand Central Terminal, police said.
The man entered the People's United Bank on Park Avenue between East 46th and 47th streets shortly after 12 p.m. on Monday, police said. Once inside the bank, the man approached a teller and passed a note demanding money, police said.
The bank teller complied with the demand and handed over an undetermined amount of cash, police said. The robber then fled the bank heading west on West 46th Street, police said.

The suspect was later seen entering the Grand Central Terminal subway station, police said. He is described as a man in his 40s standing 5-foot-11, weighing about 160 pounds and suffering from bad acne on the left side of his face, police said. He was last seen wearing a black knit cap, beige pants and a dark jacket over a navy hooded sweatshirt.
