Man Tries To Rape Midtown Spa Worker, Police Say
The would-be rapist asked for a massage, pulled a spa worker onto his bed and beat her as he tried to remove her clothing, police said.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify a man accused of beating and attempting to rape an employee at a Midtown Manhattan spa, police said.
The man entered the neighborhood spa, police did not disclose the business' exact location, on Tuesday afternoon and asked for a massage, said police. When a 43-year-old spa worker entered the room where the man was waiting, he grabbed her and pulled her onto his bed, said police.
The spa worker struggled with the man as he attempted to remove her clothes and puncher her, police said. Eventually she was able to free herself and run out of the room, prompting the man to flee the spa, police said. The woman was treated in stable condition at a local hospital.
