Medical Marijuana Dispensary To Open On Manhattan's 5th Avenue

The Midtown Manhattan dispensary will offer the "premium cannabis shopping experience."

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A California-based medical marijuana dispensary is setting up shop in Midtown Manhattan.

MedMen, a marijuana retailer likened to the "The Apple Store of Weed," will open a 10,000-square-foot dispensary on Fifth Avenue this month, a company spokeswoman confirmed. The store will be located at 433 Fifth Ave., located between West 38th and 39th streets, and will open on the stoner holiday April 20.

The dispensary will become one of only three medical marijuana dispensaries legally allowed to operate in Manhattan, according to a MedMen press release. All customers must have a medical marijuana card valid in New York state in order to shop at the dispensary.
