Person Struck By Taxi In Hell's Kitchen, Officials Say

HELL'S KITCHEN, NY — A person was hospitalized after being hit by a yellow cab Thursday morning in Hell's Kitchen, police and fire officials said.

The person was struck in the intersection of West 52nd Street and Ninth Avenue shortly before 11:30 a.m., police and fire officials said. The person was taken to St. Luke's hospital in stable condition and is expected to survive their injuries, an FDNY spokesman said.

An NYPD spokeswoman could not confirm whether the cab stayed on the scene of the collision or fled the scene.
