Woman Groped In Penn Station Subway, Police Say

The woman was walking up a staircase when an unknown man grabbed her buttocks.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify a man wanted in connection with groping a woman in Penn Station, police said.

On April 1, a 31-year-old woman was walking up a a staircase leading to the street from the Penn Station subway stop when an unknown man approached her from behind and grabbed her buttocks, police said. When the woman confronted the man, he fled into the subway station, police said.

The woman did not suffer physical injuries during the assault, police said.

Police released photos of the suspect (seen above) that were captured on station surveillance cameras.
