Woman Spends $10K On Midtown Man's Stolen Credit Card: Police

The unidentified woman swiped the card from the man's apartment as he slept, officials said.

MIDTOWN, NY — A woman crept out of a sleeping man's Midtown apartment with her dozing victim's laptop, cellphone and credit cards she used for a $10,000 spending spree, police said.

The man, 34, was burglarized as he slept in his apartment near West 31st and 10th Avenue on March 5 about 7:25 a.m., according to police.

The woman has since used the victim's credit cards to spend approximately $10,000, according to officials.

Police released photos of the woman in a nearby 7-11 she and the 34-year-old visited before heading to his apartment.
