27 Scholars Honored in Rocky Point for Advanced Placement Scores

Students honored in Rocky Point for achieving high scores on advanced placement exams.

Twenty-seven Rocky Point High School seniors have earned Advanced Placement Scholar Awards in recognition of their achievement on the AP exams.

Students can sign up to participate in an AP class, which consists of a more rigorous course load. After completing the year, the students understanding is measured by completing an exam that can help a student earn college credit, scholarships, and advanced placement.

"Seniors Evan Komorowski and Connor Sick were named AP Scholars of Distinction for receiving an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams," said Jennifer Kuefner, Syntax in a statement.
