1. A 46-year-old woman, Denise Chotalal was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Islandia around 7 p.m. Saturday. Chotalal, from Jamaica, Queens, was riding on the rear of a motorcycle when she fell off. (News 12)
2. Latino activists called for a boycott Saturday of Off Key Tikki bar in Patchogue bar this upcoming Cinco De Mayo. The backlash comes from a Cinco de Mayo promotion on the Off Key Tikki’s website that read "Join us for a little taste of Mexico (might as well before the whole country immigrates here!)" (News 12)
3. Riverhead Town officials and the Suffolk County Water Authority will meet this month to discuss bringing clean water to residents in the Riverhead section of Manorville whose private wells are contaminated with toxins. (Subscription: Newsday)
