  • A 23-year-old Lindenhurst woman died in a crash on Sunrise Highway at about 11 p.m. Sunday. Emely Tejada, 21, of Amityville was a front seat passenger in the two-car crash. (Patch)
  • Free outdoor concerts will take place nearby this summer. On July 7, Endless Summer will play the music of the Beach Boys at Harborfront Park in Port Jefferson at 8 p.m., 101 E. Broadway. (Subscription: Newsday)
