Here are the top three stories today in Miller Place-Rocky Point:

1. An 83-year-old woman died in a fire in Port Jefferson Station. Her husband is in critical condition after the 7 p.m. Sunday fire at their home on Superior Street. John Davis managed to escape but Catherine died. (News 12)
2. On Monday, an open house was held to show details of the $2.8 billion Ronkonkoma redevelopment plan to the public. The proposal includes a convention center, sports arenas and a new Long Island MacArthur Airport terminal. A second open house will be held on July 21. (Subscription: Newsday)
3. Police are looking for a man who stole and used a credit card in Commack in June. Police said he entered a 1995 Buick parked outside of Speedway at 5087 Jericho Turnpike, at 5:28 a.m. on June 22 and stole a wallet containing credit cards. (News 12)
