2. A new Filipino restaurant, Kabayan Grill, has opened in Farmingville. The chain has four other locations in Queens and one in East Meadow. (Subscription: Newsday)
3. A Hampton Bays man was arrested Saturday night after he strangled someone in the parking lot of the Hampton Bays movie theater. John Martinolich, 36, was arrested and charged with second-degree strangulation, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct. (Patch)
