Incident Report: House Break-Ins Reported in Rocky Point
The following incidents were reported to the Suffolk County Police Department between March 12 and March 22.

BURGLARY
- Police are investigating an incident in which someone pried open the front door of a home on Aloma Road in Rocky Point on March 12 and stole assorted jewelry and a flat-screen TV between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- A resident of Uranus Road in Rocky Point reported March 20 that an someone entered the home in an unknown way and stole a power drill and drill bit sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
- A resident of Lower Rocky Point Road in Sound Beach reported March 19 that someone damaged the home's basement window sometime between midnight and 8 a.m. There was no sign anyone had entered the home illegally.
- A resident of Salisbury Run in Mt. Sinai reported that someone damaged his mailbox at 11:45 p.m. on March 16.
GRAND LARCENY

- A former tenant at a home on Avery Lane in Miller Place reported March 17 that property belonging to him was missing.
HARASSMENT
- A resident of Hayward Avenue in Miller Place called police March 22 to report that an unknown person in a car drove up beside him, threw a firecracker at him, and drove away. No one was injured in the incident.
