- A Port Jefferson High School graduate and star athlete died suddenly this week at age 19.
Aidan Kaminska played football and lacrosse and was a sophomore lacrosse player at UMass. (Patch) - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is asking the public to help find two men who police said used stolen credit cards in April. They were stolen from Carrabba's Italian Grill, at 730 Smithtown Bypass, around 7:30 p.m. on April 30 and then used at Foot Locker in the Walt Whitman Shops in South Huntington and other stores. - Messiah Booker, 37, paroled from prison after participating in the January 2013 armed home invasion that led to the fatal shooting of Demitri Hampton, 21, of Riverhead, was arrested yesterday. He was charged with weapons charges, reckless endangerment and menacing charges for a May 20 disturbance at River Pointe Apartments. (RiverheadLOCAL)
