1. The family of Andrew McMorris, the Boy Scout killed by a drunk driver at age 12 in Manorville, will host a 5K run in his honor. "Andrew's Top Gun Run 5K" will be held on Saturday, March 26 at Enterprise Park at Calverton. (Patch)
2. Up to 1,000 LIRR union electricians are considering staging a work stoppage next week, after a 25-year employee who tested positive for marijuana was suspended. Ricardo Sanchez, general chairman of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 589, told electricians to brace for "extreme action" to resolve the dispute over the suspension of Ronald Dolginko, of North Babylon.
