2. The owner of a new cigar and men’s accessories store in Port Jefferson, Michael Lavopa, opened The Smokin' Gentleman at 308 Main St. in Port Jefferson Village. (Greater Long Island)
3. The state comptroller's office has asked Suffolk County to review the findings of an audit that found a Port Jefferson court clerk altered bank records and made "questionable" financial transactions without being properly supervised. (Subscription: Newsday)
