During the Hub event, Rocky Point students Ashley Bernier, Keith Bernier, Serena Cagna, Melody Guzman, Hannah Hanley, Allison Keane, Maya Poli, Halle Rau, Gabriel Rosario, Louisa Schwartz, Nathan Watkis and Rebecca Watkis worked in teams on a hands-on, NASA-inspired, mission challenge: creating a space sock. They were accompanied by District Director of Math, Science and Technology Jachan Watkis.

These students will now have the life-changing opportunity to attend a multi-day live launch at the Kennedy Space Center in February 2023.
