1. A former Marine from Selden is accused of being part of a neo-Nazi plot targeting Long Island synagogues and minorities. Matthew Belanger, 25, allegedly planned to commit homicide and sexual assault, part of a larger neo-Nazi plot to attack a Long Island synagogue and minority communities. (News 12)
2. Three women are wanted for stealing from Old Navy, in the Smith Haven Plaza in Lake Grove on June 16 around 4:30 p.m. Police are asking anyone who may be able to identify them from the released photos to contact them. There is a cash reward. (News 12)
3. The 4th annual Honeybee Festival will take place in Riverhead on July 30 at Garden of Eve Organic Farm & Market. There will be a "Honey Hayride" and lectures from master beekeeper Steven Chen about honeybees. (Subscription: Newsday)

• A Smithtown home was severely damaged in a fire on Wednesday night. It took firefighters from several stations an hour to get the fire controlled. No one was injured. (Patch)
