Super Bowl Sunday Snow In The Long Island Forecast
Record high temperatures were broken Thursday, but it's certainly still winter.

LONG ISLAND, NY — Long Islanders enjoyed record high temperatures Thursday and we may top 50 degrees Friday and Saturday as well. Super Bowl Sunday, though, will remind us that it's certainly still winter.
There's a chance of snow throughout the day Sunday, but it shouldn't amount to much. The island could see 1-2 inches of accumulation, the National Weather Service says.
Anything that does stick to the roads will freeze up overnight into Monday with temperatures falling into the teens. The high on Monday isn't expected to get out of the mid-20s. The expected wind chill temperature at 7 a.m. Monday: zero.
