1. Police say over 100 fugitives were arrested on Long Island from May 2 through May 13 - dubbed the "Long Island Wave." A task force arrested criminals policed dubbed "the worst of the worst," including 69 gang members and 160 fugitives. (News 12)

Police are asking the public to help locate a wanted man who allegedly targeted a gas station in Lake Grove in March.Police say a suspect broke a glass window at the Gulf Gas station on Middle Country Road in Lake Grove at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 5 and stole $2,000 in cash. 3. Police are looking for a man who they say stole two bottles of tequula from Lake Ronkonkoma liquor store Lake Liquor on March 11. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. (News 12)
4. A new program at Port Jefferson Elementary School bring in therapy dogs to help children deal with stress. The district partnered with Love On A Leash, a national organization, to make it a weekly program. (News 12)
