Here are the top three stories today in Miller Place-Rocky Point:

1. A 17-year-old from Smithtown died in a car crash in Commack on Wednesday afternoon. Isabel Carella, 17, of Smithtown, a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene, and three other teenagers, including the driver, all from Kings Park were injured. (Patch)
2. A North Bellport man was shot and killed in front of his home on Post Avenue on Wednesday at 1:45 p.m. The male driver of a vehicle shot Lee Houpe, 28, while he was standing outside and then fled. (Patch)
3. A 76-year-old Long Island man is missing from Coram and authorities are asking the public to help. Paul M. Petruccelli was reported missing at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15. He is 5 feet 4 inches tall with a thin build, gray hair and drives a 1993 Mazda Protégé. (Daily Voice)
