MILLER PLACE-ROCKY POINT, NY — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages, and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

This submission comes from Nicole Gabrinowitz, who nominated her daughter, Caitlyn, of Miller Place-Rocky Point.

She is currently ranked 4th in her class of almost 800 students. She applied to three colleges and was accepted to all. Caitlyn received her Letter of Offer and Acceptance from the United States Naval Academy and is waiting for her final paperwork to clear before she commits.
