Uber Eats Driver Suspected Of Leaving Crash Scene In Suffolk: Police

The suspect's car is believed to have struck a mailbox on Nov. 25, cops say. Have you seen him?

MILLER PLACE, NY — A Uber Eats food delivery driver has been accused of being behind the wheel of a vehicle that struck a mailbox in Miller Place last year, Suffolk police said Thursday.

The driver’s vehicle struck a mailbox and then bolted from the scene outside of a home on Dogwood Lane on Nov. 25 at around 6:10 p.m., according to police.

In an image from a security video, the driver can be seen wearing light-colored shoes, pants, and a hooded sweatshirt, as well as a dark-colored puffy jacket. He has a beard with dark facial hair, and was also wearing glasses.

The crime has been classified leaving the scene of an accident.
