MINEOLA, NY — A crash was cleared after several hours on the Long Island Expressway, 511ny.org said.

The accident was on the westbound side between at Exit 37 (Willis Avenue) and Exit 36 (Searington Road).

As many as two left lanes had been closed from the late-morning collision on Tuesday.
