Couple Mugged By Masked Men While Walking In Nassau
Police say three men got out of a car and mugged the couple, then drove off.
ROSLYN HEIGHTS, NY — A couple walking in Roslyn Heights were mugged by three men early Friday morning, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
According to Nassau County police, a man and woman, both 40 years old, were on Hillside Avenue at 12:25 a.m. when a black Honda Accord drove up. Police say three men got out and approached the couple.
Police say one of the men was holding a small knife and threatened the couple and demanded their belongings. A second man held the male victim's right arm and took his property, and took a cell phone from the woman's hand. A third man held the victim's other arm and took his property.

All three men then got back in the car and drove off west on Hillside Avenue, then headed south on Mineola Avenue.
Police say they stole a watch, a gold bracelet, an iPhone and a wallet. No one was injured.

Police say all three men were about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, wearing light gray hooded sweatshirts, dark pants and black masks. Two of the men had thin builds, and one had a heavy build.
Police ask anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS, or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
