Home Health Care Co. To Close 3 LI Locations, Lay Off 1K Employees
SeniorBridge has locations in Mineola, Medford and Riverhead, offering senior in-home care, that will shutter in early 2023.
LONG ISLAND, NY — A home health care company that has been closing locations across the country announced three Long Island locations will shutter in 2023. Humana at Home runs SeniorBridge, which offers complex senior in-home care, with Mineola, Medford and Riverhead locations.
According to a state Labor Department filing, the company plans to close all three LI locations by January 27, 2023, along with NYC and White Plains locations. The company will lay off 1,005 employees across New York State.
SeniorBridge had 23 locations in nine states, and began shuttering across states earlier this year.
