MINEOLA, NY —Mineola voters will be well acquainted with their politicians next year, with incumbents claiming victory in every race Tuesday night. District Attorney Madeline Singas, Supervisor Judi Bosworth and Legislator Richard Nicolello all successfully defended their seats, as did Tax Receiver Charles Berman.

In the race for supervisor, Bosworth defeated Republican challenger David Redmond, who later wrote in a Facebook post that his team was "highly disappointed" in the results. He said the odds were against him from the start.

"I knew going in we were up against a stacked deck, but that is never a good excuse not to fight for you," Redmond wrote in a Facebook post. "In fact, we've inspired too many people along the way to ever give up."

Redmond added that his campaign aimed to give people a voice to air their concerns with local government.
