Mineola Panera Bread Accepting Turkey Donations

In support of Island Harvest’s annual Turkey and Trimmings Collection Campaign to help feed Long Islanders struggling with hunger during the holiday season, Mineola's Panera Bread is among the many Long Island locations accepting non-perishable food items and frozen turkey donations now through Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.

Donation bins have been set up for boxed and canned foods; frozen turkeys can be donated at the counter.

Panera Bread’s Long Island, Brooklyn and Queens locations provide more than 2,200 pounds of bread each week from its area bakery-cafes to Mineola-based Island Harvest, Long Island’s largest hunger relief organization.
