More Than 20 Nassau Juniors Honored By District Attorney

The Shield Award is given out to those students who've shown strength of character and commitment to self-growth.

MINEOLA, NY — Nassau County District Attorney Anne Donnelly has announced the winners of this year's Shield Awards. They are handed out to outstanding high school juniors have shown strength of character and commitment to self-growth by demonstrating the spirit and initiative to bring about positive change in their communities.
