VIDEO: Police Investigating Grand Larceny Reported At Synagogue, Asking For Public's Help: PD

NCPD is asking anyone with information to call 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911.

ROSLYN ESTATES, NY — Police have released video footage of one of the people who may be connected to a grand larceny that occurred at a synagogue in Roslyn Estates on Jan. 6, police said.

Nassau County police are requesting anyone with information to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.

The grand larceny occurred at 12:10 p.m. at Torah Ohr Roslyn on Mineola Avenue, police said. Three unknown people removed several checks from a staff member's desk without authorization, police said.

According to NCPD, two of the suspects were described as white males, approximately 35 to 45 years old, 5-feet 9-inches tall, 175 lbs., with brown hair, and wearing blue suits, white shirts, and black hats.

The third suspect was described as a white female, approximately 35 to 45 years old, 5-feet 5-inches tall, 150 lbs., and wearing a black suit and white shirt, police said.

Police said all three suspects left the synagogue in a silver Toyota Rav4 in an unknown direction.

The NCPD is urging the community to be on alert for potential scams or fraud.
