Voter's Guide: Mineola 2018-19 School Budget, Board Election
What you need to know for election day.

Those who reside within the area of Mineola schools will vote on the district's $98,195,200 proposed budget for the 2018-19 school year on Tuesday, May 15.
The proposal calls for a 3.97 percent increase in spending over the current year and the tax levy increase is 1.96 percent, which is within the tax levy cap.
Two candidates are running unopposed for two spots on the Mineola Board of Education. They are incumbents Christine Napolitano and Brian Widman, according to Newsday.
