Man Steals $5K Bicycle In Montauk: Police
He also tried to steal an unlocked Ferrari, police say.

MONTAUK, NY — Police are searching for whoever stole a bicycle worth $5,000 in Montauk recently.
According to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and East Hampton Town Police, a man tried to steal an unlocked 1987 Ferrari 328 GTS — causing damage to the car's electrical components — from the parking lot of Montauk Manor, located at 236 Edgemere St., on August 21 at 4 a.m.
The man then stole a blue Salsa Bucksaw bicycle from a bike rack on a 2008 Toyota, police said. According to police, the stolen bicycle has a value of about $5,000.
