A Long Island man has been visiting Montauk for 30 years. Now he's created an aerial video, a guided tour of his favorite place on earth.

MONTAUK, NY — One man's lifelong devotion to his favorite place has led him to immortalize the destination on video.
Paul Balzano of Massapequa created a YouTube video, "Montauk, NY: A beautiful narrated tour of must-see hot spots in Long Island’s summer paradise."
The video, he said, focuses on the beauty of Montauk and essential destinations visitors should see.

He describes the Montauk Lighthouse, surf fishing, "expansive, white sandy beaches," fishing excursions, hiking trails, wine tasting, and range of resorts and eateries that have made Montauk such a beloved part of visitors' lives.

Balzano said he chose the locations "because these are the places where I’ve had personal experiences and have visited frequently over the years. For example, when my kids were younger, we’d always go to Montauk Point and hike down the trail to the beach, where we'd collect and skim rocks on the water."
His favorite places to stay include the Surf Club, Royal Atlantic Condos and Gurney's, due to their beach locations and family-friendly vibes, he said.
Montauk, he said, holds a special place in his heart.
"I love waking up and walking through the village in the morning, grabbing coffee and breakfast there before we start our day," he said. "For the past 30 years, I’ve tried to visit Montauk each summer. Now that my kids have grown, my wife and I still continue to make new memories there while cherishing the old."
Balzano grew up on Long Island and Montauk, he said, has always been a part of his life, particularly in the summer.
He created the video to share the natural beauty of Montauk and all it has to offer for those who’ve never been there, he said.
"Although only 2.5 hours from my home, I always get a special feeling when in Montauk, as if I boarded a plane and traveled to some faraway destination," he said.
