"The idea behind Montauk OM is to offer an all-inclusive space for everybody to come and connect with the natural world"

MONTAUK, NY — A new yoga studio is set to open its door in Montauk, with a focus on connecting with the natural world.
Montauk OM, presented by the owner of Left-Hand Coffee Shop Yannis Papagiannis, is slated to open on May 12.
Previously home to BYoga, Montauk OM plans to welcome beginner to advanced practitioners, inviting them to explore their minds and bodies with the help of instructors including Mariah Betts, Ashley Mcgee, Christine Hoar, and Amy Seminski.

Betts has been a student of yoga since 1998, where she found yoga as a way to gain greater body awareness and mental focus, a release said. Her classes offer a "safe, inspiring and light-hearted space for students to go deep into their practice without force and to use movement and breath to move through challenges on the mat and in life," the release added.
Mcgee, meanwhile, is a certified yoga teacher, healing artist and curator that has been described by her students as "a ray of light, safe, strong, intuitive and gentle," staffers said.

Hoar has been a practitioner and teacher for more than 25 years "and offers her students unique insights into discovering greater joy, freedom, and self-transformation," the release added.
Seminski has more than 20 years of teaching experience and she finds flowing as a "way to express herself with movement; incorporating breath and alignment is very important to her," the release added.
"The idea behind Montauk OM is to offer an all-inclusive space for everybody to come and connect with the natural world," said wellness director Betts. "OM will be offering different levels of classes to suit everyone from beginners to devoted practitioners."
"The transformed studio is simple, minimalist, Zen, earthy and inspiring, like a breath of fresh air. Decorated with a few pieces of art and plants, the earth-color wooden floors allow the atmosphere to remain welcoming and relaxing for all who enter," staffers said.
Classes including Slow Flow, Power Flow, Flow, Sculpt and Ashtanga Inspired Flow will be offered both on weekdays and weekends.
The studio is located at 83v S Elmwood, #1B, in Montauk. Classes will take place Monday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The studio’s current schedule can be found on the website here.
