'Ein Prosit': Oktoberfest Beer Garden On Tap For Cross County
Captain Lawrence beer, new friends in lederhosen and dirndl; unless you're headed to Munich, Westchester is the place to be this weekend.

YONKERS, NY — You can enjoy fall without celebrating Oktoberfest, but it certainly doesn't hurt. Come for the live music, dancing and German-inspired food, and stay for the local beers.
The Cross County Center announced that it will be hosting a Beer Garden for Oktoberfest this weekend, with live music, dancing, food, and fun for all ages on both Saturday and Sunday.
The Beer Garden will be located on The Green, in the center of the mall, and will be open 1 p.m. - 7 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. on Sunday.

There will be no entrance fee. Families are welcome but guests must be 21+ with a wristband to drink alcoholic beverages.
Guests are invited to come dressed in their best "lederhosen and dirndl dresses" for a true Oktoberfest experience.

Local beers from the Captain Lawrence Brewing Company, grilled brats, pretzels with mustard, and more will be available for purchase.
The Ron Susman Band will be performing live on Saturday, from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m., while the FDR Band will be live on Sunday, from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
