HUDSON VALLEY, NY — One lucky person in the area might have a million dollars in their pocket right now, according to New York Lottery officials.
The New York Lottery announced a second-prize ticket for the September 29 Mega Millions drawing was sold at a gas station located at 292 Ashburton Ave. in Yonkers. The ticket is worth a guaranteed $1,000,000.
Another winning second-prize ticket was sold in Georgia.

A winner has up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim the prize money.
The numbers drawn on Friday were 18-40-47-55-64. The Mega Ball number was 11.

The winning numbers for the Mega Millions game are drawn from a field of one to 70. The Mega Ball is drawn from a separate field of one to of 25. The Mega Millions drawing is televised every Tuesday and Friday at 11 p.m.
While the overall odds of winning are 1 in 24, the odds of winning the jackpot with 5 matching numbers are about 1 in 12,000,000.
