The New York Lottery Was Good To Westchester This Christmas

WESTCHESTER, NY — They say it's better to give than to receive, but the Hudson Valley's Christmas Day lottery winners are feeling plenty of holiday spirit.

The New York Lottery announced one top-prize winning ticket was sold for the Dec. 25, TAKE 5 Evening drawing. The ticket was sold at a variety store on East Prospect Avenue in Mount Vernon, which sold one prize-winning ticket worth $26,603.

Meanwhile, a third-prize-winning ticket was being sold for the Dec 25, Powerball drawing. The winning ticket was purchased at JB Auto Center on Yonkers Ave. The prize-winning ticket is worth $50,000.

Three third-prize-winning Powerplay tickets were sold for the Dec 25, Powerball drawing. One of the winning tickets was sold at Le Mac Pharmacy on McClean Avenue in Yonkers, which sold one prize-winning ticket worth $100,000. Another winning ticket was sold at Smokes4Less on North Plank Road in Newburgh, which sold one prize-winning ticket worth $100,000. A winning ticket was also sold at 145 Food Plaza in Manhattan, which also sold one prize-winning ticket worth $100,000.
