Still Time: Kids' Poetry Contest Ends Thursday

National Library Week is coming up April 18, and one of the ways the Mount Vernon Library will be celebrating is with the results of a special Poetry Writing Contest for kids.

Write a poem to tell the Friends of the Mount Vernon Library “how the Library has transformed or changed you.”

This contest is for grades 3 – 6 • Three prizes for each grade

Entries are due on or before April 7. Remember to include your name, school, grade and phone number on the back of your entry. Drop it off at the Children's Department.
