  1. Two of New York City's largest 15-minute delivery companies, operating dozens of so-called 'dark stores' across the boroughs, have closed in recent days, potentially due to the effects of the war in Ukraine. One of the companies, Fridge No More, has a Russian CEO and was reportedly backed by Russian investors. (New York City Patch)
  2. Progressive NYC politicians are taking issue with a controversial program for developers building housing known as 421-a, which provides large tax breaks in exchange for setting aside a small portion of the building's units as so-called 'affordable.' The program is set to expire in June, but Governor Kathy Hochul has plans to introduce a modified version of it before then. (Patch)
  3. Former Governor Andrew Cuomo may be considering a run for his old seat in the upcoming Democratic primary. A recent poll has him trailing the current Governor Kathy Hochul by only four points. The same poll, however, indicated that 63% of New Yorkers don't believe he should reenter public office. (New York City Patch)
  4. Mayor Eric Adams appeared to have a good time at Thursday's St. Patrick's Day parade, downing two beers before noon as he paraded down through Midtown. (New York City Patch)
  5. The man accused of murdering Christina Yuna Lee was indicted on charges of "murder and burglary as a sexually motivated felony," according to the District Attorney's office.
