3 People Murdered In Separate Brooklyn Incidents Over The Weekend
No arrests have been made in two incidents as of Monday afternoon, police said.
BROOKLYN, NY — Police are investigating three separate homicides that occurred in Brooklyn over the weekend.
The first incident happened on Friday in Bed-Stuy in the lobby of an apartment building at 132 Herkimer St. around 6:15 p.m., police said.
Officers found an unresponsive 23-year-old man who had been shot multiple times.

The victim was transported to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police have not released the man's identity as of Monday afternoon.

The second incident happened in Broadway Junction inside 38 Somers St. around 2:47 a.m., police said.
Steven Battle, 45, of the Bronx, was found inside the building with a gunshot wound.
Battle was transported to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Nearly three hours later, police found a 47-year-old man stabbed to death inside the lobby of a building in Bed-Stuy.
Police found Donald Nesbit unresponsive with stab wounds to the back. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kaydene Martin, 40, has been arrested and charged with manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
No arrests have been made in the other two incidents as of Monday afternoon, police said.
