4 Suspects Attack, Rob Man Inside NYC Subway, Police Say

NEW YORK CITY — Police are searching for four men who attacked and robbed a subway rider inside a Manhattan-bound, A train on Monday.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect on Thursday.

The incident happened around 6:05 a.m. as the northbound A train was traveling toward Spring Street, police said.

The four suspects allegedly armed with knives approached a 36-year-old man and demand cash from the victim.

The men then began to punch the victim multiple times throughout the body. The group fled the scene with the victim's hat when the train arrived at Spring Street.

The first suspect was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, a white and blue baseball cap, black pants, white, black and blue sneakers and carrying a tan backpack and a black gym bag.

The second suspect was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a camouflage coat, blue jeans, white and black sneakers, an orange and black hooded sweatshirt and carrying a backpack, police said.

The third suspect was last seen wearing a black skull cap, a red shirt, black sweatpants, a black coat, white socks and black sandals and carrying a black backpack.

The fourth individual was last seen wearing a brown jacket, a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black sneakers and carrying a black gym bag.
